The Delta Zeta sorority was built on five principles that we stand by in all aspects of our lives: friendship, sisterhood, scholarship, growth, and service.  Helping others is the best way to give back to your community, which is why we care so much about philanthropy.  Our national philanthropy supports the speech and hearing impaired. We support the Delta Zeta Foundation, Galludet University, and The House Ear Institute.  Locally, we support the Bridge to Hope.

In the past year we have done many different service activities. As a group we participated in campus clean-up as well as highway clean-up. We will be doing another highway clean-up this year with Chi Lambda on Sunday, October 29.  We have also collected $191.87 so far for Dimes for the Deaf.  We will continue to collect in hopes to make even more money for this great cause.  We will be having our Second Annual pancake breakfast at the Menomonie Leisure Center on Saturday, November 11.  Last year was very successful, so we hope to continue this new tradition. Fall semester, we will be collecting pop tops again for the Ronald McDonald House.  Our earnings will be donated to one child at the Minneapolis Ronald McDonald house. The money will go to his family to help pay for hospital visits.
